Nisargadatta Quote

Nothings stops you from being a gnani here and now, except fear. You are afraid of being impersonal, of impersonal being. It is all quite simple. Turn away from your desires and fears and from the thoughts they create and you are at once in your natural state.

One Water

Falling snowflakes, each a unique universe of expression, not ever two the same, but all of them one water.

apparition of separation and illusion of attachment

When there is no hardened perception of an individual entity there is not as much tendency to become attached to any "thing".

duality nonduality beingness

There is not duality and nonduality.

There is only this be-ing.

How could there possibly be duality and nonduality in this?

The idea of both duality and nonduality are included in beingness.

No answer to the mystery of life but what is

In the mystery of life there are no answers to be found because all answers have already been provided.

This that appears right here, right now is the only answer there ever is.

There is nothing else that is but what appears in this moment of being.

The answers that are provided by and as life appearing in this moment of being are complete and clear even if the answers that appear are made of confusion and incompleteness.

Knowing this gives great satisfaction.

Only illusions appear to die

I have seen such countless births and deaths, or beginnings and endings of this so-called person to know that the me is not real in any sense of being a separate entity with its own, personal self substance.

In fact the appearance of a phantom self within its phantom world is born and dies so often that there is no fixed beginning or fixed ending that can be seen to actually exist.

There is such constant changing of the phantom appearance that it proves to be just a light and shadow show.

Three More

The world does not yield to changing. By its very nature it is painful and transient. See it as it is and divest yourself of all desire and fear. When the world does not hold and bind you, it becomes an abode of joy and beauty. You can be happy in the world only when you are free of it.

When somebody dies, nothing happens. Something becomes nothing. Nothing was, nothing remains.

It is the changing that dies. The immutable neither lives nor dies; it is the timeless witness of life and death. You cannot call it dead, for it is aware. Nor can you call it alive, for it does not change.

Nisargadatta Quote

[The Absolute] gives birth to consciousness. All else is in consciousness.

In Solitude and Darkness

In each [school of yoga], one can progress up to the point when all desire for progress must be abandoned to make further progress possible. Then all schools are given up, all effort ceases; in solitude and darkness, the last step is made which ends ignorance and fear for ever.

Onion

There are so many countless layers of being that one begins to see there are actually no layers at all. It's like sound of silence and stillness in action.
